Stepan Benes
Recently crossed first quarter of human life, equipped with degree in social sciences, sitting on a wheelchair, I reside and work as a freelance writer in the "hearth of the Europe" - Czech Republic. My world and personal interest is made of two words: technology and handicapped people. Sometimes, I connect them together. And sometimes I like to write about them separately.
For a 5 years now, I have been writing about everything connected to those words, mostly for printed magazines. Among them was Czech Business Weekly magazine where I regularly filled up the technology section for almost two years and ITBiz.cz, on-line magazine about all things IT and business. Now I'm working as regular contributor to technology section for Respekt, one of the biggest Czech Republic's mainstream weekly magazine on society and for assistive technology and travelling sections of Muzes, biggest Czech magazine writing for people with disabilities. From time to time, I also work as analyst for a media company.
